Solace - Ahsas

Solace music has always told a story that paints a picture of the moods and feelings of the composer. Ahsas definitely conveys feelings of loneliness, fear, doubt and love. Jeremiah uses the instruments as his voice and tells this story of inner-self in 11 songs that he calls 'chapters'.

Ahsas is considered a book of emotions from a very important time in Jeremiah’s life. But instead of acting out in a dangerous or self-destructive manner, he chose to write about his feelings.

From the dark, moody sounds of 'Solitude' which has an intensity-building characteristic similar to a whirling dervish or a coming storm, to 'Blessings' with its blissful atmosphere of heavy percussion and intoxicating zaghareets, the Arabian dance sounds of Solace are the perfect blend of cutting edge and tradition.
