This album is a compilation of Bregovic's music from the Time of the Gypsies and Kuduz plus some traditinal folk songs. When listening to this album you will lose yourself to a world full of emotions and passion as it can only be expressed by the rythem of gypsy music and Bregovic is the Master of inroducing the West to this music heaven. Gypsy music is the music of love and hate, of joy and sorrow, of contradictions and surprises that when you experience with this album you will be back for more. Pay particular attention to Ederlezi, which in my opinion is one the best pieces of music ever written. The whole album combines fanatastic vocals with all the eastern elements that definately take the soul to a different level.A fantastic album that will make you want to dance and laugh and cry...
